Holly

Holly is a red taffy Quarter horse.  She stands 15 hands.  Born in 1974, Holly was a pleasure horse, taking to the trails prior to her retirement to Ryerss in August 2004.  Now, she enjoys spending time out to pasture with Kipper and Echo.

Hurry

What’s The Hurry is a bay Hanoverian and Thoroughbred cross.  She stands 15 hands.  Born in 1980, Hurry spent her former years as a trail rider.  She tried her reigns in eventing and fox hunting and was known as a great jumper.  Since her retirement in October 2007, Hurry spends her days out to pasture with her friend Wolverine.

Jack

Jack is a chestnut draft mix.  He was born before 1979 and worked for a pharmaceutical company, producing black widow spider anti-venom.  Jack retired to Ryerss in June 2004.  He can be found out to pasture with Snowcap.

Jack

Jumpin’ Jack is a dun Quarter horse mix.  Approximately 15 hands, he was born around 1984.  A rescued horse, Jack was brought to Ryerss Farm in July 2006 by Large Animal Protection Society (LAPS).  One of nine horses rescued from a poorly ran farm, Jumpin’ Jack was so named because he was known to escape his adverse living conditions in search of food by jumping the fence and heading to a cow farm across the road.
