Speedy

Speed Minister is a bay Thoroughbred.  Born in 1986, she held a career in racing.  During her career, Speedy competed in 43 races, placing first in 12 of them.  She retired to Ryerss Farm with her best friend, DD, in April 2007.

Stanley

Stanley is a sorrel Belgian.  He stands 18.1 hands.  Born in 1984, Stanley is shy but with work from Ryerss staff, he has become more trusting and willing to greet visitors for an apple or carrot.  Stanley worked for a pharmaceutical company aiding in creating snakebite anti-venom before retiring to Ryerss in October 2004.  Stanley is smart, a good mover and “King of the Drafts.”

Star

Yankee Star is a chestnut Irish Thoroughbred.  Born in 1986, she was a racehorse.  Star retired to Ryerss in September 2005 with her friends, Liam and Ruler.  She is best friends with Liam and Mariah.

Steffi

Step Out Phyllis is a grey Thoroughbred.  She stands 16 hands.  Born in 1984, Steffi held a varied career including racing, dressage and pleasure before retiring to Ryerss in June 2002.  She is friends with Elinka.
